The correction :
With regard to the name of the village, it came as a minimised name of Nuquab which means the rough land. This village was occupied by Alrogaybat Arab tribe for a long time of history. They belong to Alsahabi Aljaleel Abdulrahman Bin Owf. Alrogaybat used to live a stable life as farmers (grains,tomato,olives,vegetables and fishing).
Alrogaybat land was divided by Syx-Pico Agreement in 1916 to three parts Palestinians ,Syrians and Jordanians. The Palestinians today live in the Yarmouk Camp in Damascus and they have a high number of post graduated professionals and Palestine has been given many martyrs from them.
